Basic Bushcraft Weekends - Three-day workshop on consecutive Saturdays, starting 1st February 2025. Theatre of the Senses presents a series of hands-on workshops in traditional and modern wilderness skills. The usual price is £165, but with the holiday season upon us, we are offering a reduced rate of £130 on tickets purchased between 14th December and 31st January, inclusive. The course will begin on 1st February 2025, and cost £165.00. Special offer: pay only £130.00 if you book between 14th December and 31st January. Please ensure that you wear clothing appropriate to the outdoor conditions on the day of the event, and especially footwear that is stout and comfortable. Sessions will include instruction and training in bushcraft skills and provide basic hands-on experience. On the course you will learn: UK knife law Safe use of tools Making simple tools, tent pegs, toggles and notches Practice fire-starting using an array of techniques Oil making and fixing wax Constructing and using a tinder bundle How to light a fire using a variety of fire lays Filtering and purifying water Adapting a tarp to inclement weather    Cooking methods How to leave no trace Course leader Shaun, the founder and a director of Theatre of the Senses CIC, will work in association with Liz from Arukah Bushcraft.
