Basic Bushcraft Saturdays - Four-hour workshops on Saturdays, 10.30am - 2.30pm, commencing 24th May, 2025. Theatre of the Senses offers hands-on workshops in traditional and modern wilderness skills. Groups welcome. Price per session: £50.00 Please ensure that you wear clothing appropriate to the outdoor conditions on the day of the event, especially footwear that is stout and comfortable. Sessions will include instruction and training in bushcraft skills and provide basic hands-on experience. On the course you will learn: UK knife law Safe use of tools Making simple tools, tent pegs, toggles and notches Practice fire-starting using an array of techniques Oil making and fixing wax Constructing and using a tinder bundle How to light a fire using a variety of fire lays Filtering and purifying water Adapting a tarp to inclement weather    Cooking methods How to leave no trace Course leader Shaun, the founder and a director of Theatre of the Senses CIC, is a seasoned bushcraft facilitator and teaches both modern and traditional skills.
